Dear A&O followers,
Today I´d like to tell something about a really nice, small, cosy town in Ibiza. The village of Santa Gertudis is the geographical heart of the island. Santa Gertrudis is a village of tradition. It is recognized by the main square with its whitewashed church, a cluster of bars, restaurants and shops. It is a beautiful place to visit.
Santa Gertrudis had expanded rapidly over the last few years. The village square has had a makeover and has now new, hip café bars and restaurants, arts, crafts shops, galleries, and an eclectic mix of clothing and accessories. Any time of day is just perfect for a visit to the village.
Some really nice restaurants in Santa Gertrudis are: Bar Costa for delicious Jamon Serrano and Manchego cheese, Es Cantó for traditional hearty fare and La Plaza for a special evening.
